Open Day

Madrid's architecture week takes place from 5 to 11 October giving members of the public the opportunity to visit various exhibitions, conferences and guided tours. These guided tours include the SyV Tower tour, whose roof will be open to visitors on Wednesday 7 October. This initiative is organised by the Architecture Foundation COAM (Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid), which allows members of the public to visit 15 landmark buildings in Madrid.

The tower SyV obtains the first occupation license and the operating license

The Madrid City Council has granted the SyV Tower with the first occupation license and the operating license.

Work visit

Alberto Ruiz Gallardón Mayor of Madrid, visits the work

On 5 June, the Mayor of Madrid, Alberto Ruiz-Gallardón, visited the Tower where the show floors for the hotel and the offices are already equipped. The Mayor was accompanied by the Chairman of Testa, Mr Fernando Rodríguez-Avial and the Chairman of Sacyr, Mr Javier Gayo. Grupo Hotusa’s new hotel, Eurostars Madrid Tower, will occupy the first 33 floors of the Sacyr-Vallehermoso Tower in the Cuatro Torres Business Area (CTBA) on Paseo de la Castellan. The hotel will be opened in November, with 474 luxury five-star rooms, besides other services. The Tower is owned by Testa and is being built by Sacyr, which has invested over 350 million euros in the project.

Testa, the real estate arm of the Sacyr Vallehermoso group, has started to market the office space in the SyV Tower, one of the most modern and emblematic buildings in Madrid.

The Madrid Firefighters Corps has awarded a Prize to the Head of the APR 08.04 Ciudad Deportiva Urban Collaboration Organisation (consisting of the 4 owners) for its collaboration in the 4 TORREs project

Raising the flag

A light show to celebrate the raising of the Sacyr Tower flag

Last night a light show culminated the raising of the flag on the Sacyr Vallehermoso Tower. This is one of four towers under construction on the site of the former Real Madrid Ciudad Deportiva training grounds, and after 27 months’ work is now 236 metres tall.
